KL Painting & Custom Craftsmanship is led by co-owners Garrett Lanier and Will Kelly, both proud members of the Kinston and Lenoir County community. Together, they share a passion for serving others, working with their hands, and transforming homes into spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
Garrett brings over 10 years of experience in remodels, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and custom projects, along with an entrepreneurial mindset shaped by growing up in a family-owned business. Will, a former teacher and coach in Lenoir County, brings a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and a detail-oriented approach to every project.
After working together on several jobs, they quickly recognized a shared commitment to craftsmanship, community, and faith. Today, they combine their skills to offer high-quality painting and custom interior work, approaching each project—large or small—with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
